Earthquake Insurance: Extension Coverage

Vehicle insurance, as in the Indonesian Automotive Insurance Standard Policy issued by AAUI, does not have Earthquake Coverage included in the Standard policy. Sahabat Insurance Encourages Financial Literacy Through The CSR Program With Maipark

Sahabat Insurance support CSR and literacy activities in collaboration with PT Reasuransi MAIPARK Indonesia and several insurance companies in Indonesia by providing assistance in the form of earthquake insurance policies worth IDR 200 million for 180 buildings, bringing the total protection provided to IDR 36 billion on "2025 Earthquake Literacy, Risk and Financial Mitigation - Earthquake Awareness Community for a Disaster-Resilient Indonesia" in Barusari Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut, West Java - July 10th, 2025.

The literacy session was divided into two sessions, delivered by Dr. Ruben Damanik, who presented information on earthquakes, and Muhammad Affandi, who discussed the importance of earthquake /disaster insurance.

It is hoped that this literacy program will help residents, an initiative focused on enhancing community resilience to earthquakes in Indonesia. This initiative likely involves improving public understanding of earthquakes, assessing and managing risks, and Increasing Literacy of earthquake/disaster Insurance in Indonesia.
